N64 Cheat Codes

Cheat Mode
At the "Press Start" screen, press A, R, Z, Up(2), C-Up, C-Down and C-Down. If you entered the code correctly, the screen will say "Missions Open". This will enable access to all levels and unlock Battle mode.

Unlock Battle Mode
To unlock the Bronze battle mode, complete the Death To The Invader level (on the left branch of levels). To unlock the Silver battle mode beat the Ramqan level (on the middle branch of levels). To unlock the Gold battle mode do the Balalas level (on the right branch of levels).

Psychedelic Mode
When "Press Start" appears on the opening screen, press A, R, Left, Right, Down, C-Up, C-Left, C-Down.

Wire-Frame Mode
When "Press Start" appears on the opening screen, press L(2), R, Z, Left, Right, C-Up, C-Right.

Turbo Crazy Mode
When "Press Start" appears on the opening screen, press B(2), R, Up, Left, Down, C-Up, C-Left. If you entered the code correctly, the phrase "Got it" will be spoken and a message will appear.

Gore Mode
When "Press Start" appears on the opening screen, press Z, Down, C-Up, C-Left(4), C-Down. If you entered the code correctly, the phrase "Gore mode" will be spoken and you will hear a sound.

Quick Start
Turn on the N64. Wait for the first opening screen. Press the reset button on your console. Now you can bypass the opening screens with the start button. This saves around a minute or so off of what is otherwise an unavoidable onslaught of ads and company titles.

Get Every Trick in Training Easily
Here's a cool trick to easily clear all tricks in the Training Mode (so that you can get the Penguin Board). Go into the Training Mode with any character and do a couple of the simple tricks (so that they turn red in the trick list). Then, when you get to a trick you can't do, go to your trick list and pick a real easy trick (like a board grab). Do the easy trick and immediately press C-Right to go back into the trick list while you are still in the air. Now select the trick you can't do (like a 1080, for example) and go back into the game. Land your board and the game will think you actually did that trick.

Go Past the Finish Line
To be able to snowboard past the finish line, you must be in a match race. You can do this with anybody on any course. Make your way down to the finish line. It doesn't matter if you are in first or second. Before you pass the finish line, press start and go to retire. Now you will continue to snowboard past the finish line. This looks the best on Deadly Falls because you will go off the cliff!

Rappin' Replay
During the View Replay option for the Half Pipe mode you can add record scratches to the backround. To do this, move the control stick in any direction during the Half Pipe Replay. Note: This trick only works in the Half Pipe mode replay.

Intro Camera
Press C-up during the intro movie and move the control pad around to have full camera control (just like during the game).

Deadly Fall Course
In Match race, beat the six courses on expert mode. This will unlock the Deadly Fall course.

Dragon Cave Course
In Match race, beat the five courses on hard mode. This will unlock the Dragon Cave course.

Crystal Boarder
With any character clear the expert mode. Now on the character selection screen select Akari. Press C-Left and then A (you should be on the sceen that shows character technique, speed, balance, power and jump). If you've done it correctly you will see Akari's picture replaced with the Crystal Boarder at the track selection screen.

Metal Boarder
Win the expert mode with the Crystal boarder. Now on the character selection screen highlight Kensuke. Press C-Up, and then A (you should be on the sceen that shows character technique, speed, balance, power and jump). If you've done it correctly you will see Kensuke's picture replaced with the Metal boarder at the track selection screen.

Panda Boarder
Win all time attack and trick attack modes with first place rankings. Now on the character selection screen highlight Rob. Press C-right and then A (you should be on the sceen that shows character technique, speed, balance, power and jump). If you've done it correctly you will see Rob's picture replaced with the Panda Boarder at the track selection screen.

Penguin Board
In training mode perform all 24 tricks. Now, at the board selection screen highlight the Tahoe 151 board and press C-down followed by A.

Quick Start
During the countdown of a race, right before you start (3-2-1), wait until the 1 disappears and press Up on the Control Stick. This will cause you to lunge forward and give you a much quicker start. It may take a bit of practice though to get your timing perfect.

Fast Start After Crashing
After crashing, you normally just get up and slowly start up again. Well, just like the Quick Start, you can press forward and give yourself a small thrust forward. After crashing a lot, this helps greatly.
